Have a fair few thousand miles though I was a relative latecomer to sailing.

I've cruised the south and east coasts of Ireland; the south coast of England and chartered in Greece, Turkey and Croatia. I've also cruised many miles in New England.

Longer trips included helping deliver to the Canaries from Cork and Porto and I've also done a Round-Ireland Race, though I'm very much a cruiser.

  • Boat descriptionGrand Slam is a Dufour 41 Classic from 1997. I've owned her sine 2022 and she's been well looked after by her previous owners. She has 3 cabins and 2 heads. Sails are 3 years old and very lightly used (in-mast furling). Electronics are modern. She's quite quick for a cruising boat and she sails very well

Lagos to Vigo

5

John it's a very nice captain, very kind and a good sense of humour. It was a great pleasure travel from Lagos to Vigo that take almost one mount, choosing the wright weather window to make the travel safe and pleasant. Grand Slam it's a nice boat well maintained (It's John's home)
