I am a Stewardess from the United Kingdom (South of England) and am writing to apply for your available stewardess position.
My previous experience includes daywork and temp-work positions as a sole deck/stew, where I gained hands-on exposure to provisioning, interior cleaning, and independently managing all stewardess duties during charters. Beyond my yachting experience, I have a strong professional background in law, having worked in the field since the age of 16. My background in competitive sports, including representing my county in netball and swimming, has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure—all of which are crucial in the fast-paced yachting environment.
During my role as the sole Deck/Stew on MY Amelia, working alongside only the Captain, I gained invaluable independence and responsibility. I took the initiative to research and implement appropriate interior cleaning products, learning through trial and error, which allowed me to continuously improve and excel in my role. This experience has further fuelled my motivation to refine my skills and grow within the industry.
Additionally, I have a vibrant and energetic personality that helps foster a positive and cohesive team atmosphere.
