Looking for a Novice Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew position and I have completed a Competent Crew course and Day Skipper course with RYA in Western Australia. Limited sailing experience except that done for the 2 weeks of RYA training and I am keen to get a lot more experience before buying my own boat. Spent most of my life near the sea and have owned my own 16ft power boat which I used for recreation and fishing up to 20kms offshore. Used to the Southern Ocean swells we get down here and not prone to seasickness. My aim is to get plenty of sea miles into my logbook (particularly ocean passages) and then to do RYA Yacht Masters course before getting a boat.
I am easy going with a good sense of humour and value my integrity. Also can cook, handy on the tools and like to be tidy. Looking forward to making new friends and to new adventures. Happy to provide my phone number and chat on request.
