Experienced crew in Tenerife seeking to cross the Atlantic
Hello everyone,
2 experienced crew members (more than 2500 m.n in the last few months) currently in Tenerife are looking for their next captain to continue the adventure across the Atlantic ⛵️?
After crossing from France to Madeira and then to Ténérife (3 on a 43-foot sloop), we are looking for a boat to Cape Verde and/or the West Indies.
We are Manon and Lucas, 29 and 28 years old, two French travelers who decided to take a year off to sail across the Atlantic!
For a quick presentation: before leaving Lucas was working as a product engineer in backpacks while Manon was a web project manager. We both are really curious, nature lovers, and (almost) always in a good mood! We love to share and discuss about any topics around a good meal, and we are pretty good cooks, even when sailing! Lucas also know how to fish.
Resourceful, we like manual work and we know to improvise and react effectively in the event of unforeseen events! We will make ourselves useful to participate in life on board and we obviously plan to participate in night shifts and the boardcash.
We do not have any deadline, what matters the most for us is to find a crew with whom we get along! We are currently in Tenerife and if you’d like to do a “sail test” in the Canaries, we would be happy to show what great -and humble- crew members we are! ?
Please, if you like our profile do not hesitate to contact us to discuss it together by phone or visio!
We wish you an excellent day,
Manon and Lucas
