Looking for a Deckhand or Delivery Crew position
Hello,
I’m interested in your role as a deckhand. I hold a Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore and have been working as the Skipper of a 50' monohull based at the New York Yacht Club in Newport Rhode Island, and am looking to gain experience aboard larger yachts.
I’m new to the superyacht world, but I believe my age and experience give me an edge to pick things up quicker than perhaps someone younger can. I’m very interested in a long term role where I can continue training and progress in my career.
I own and live-aboard my own 12m yacht when not working abroad and have a lot of experience working on and repairing smaller sail yacht systems. I have almost two decades of industrial and entertainment rigging experience and thrive while working at height. I have extensive DC power experience as well as carpentry and mechanical skills.
I believe my leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management and multi-tasking skills are a valuable addition to my sailing, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and would make me an asset to any program.
