Looking for Day Sailing / Weekend Sailing out of Florida

Hello, I am looking for coastal cruising opportunities to gain experience. I am planning on buying a boat closer to retirement within 10 years. I don't want to buy a boat now, that will just sit while I work full-time. So I joined a sailing club that has dinghys and small keelboats, but they don't go out to the ocean.
