I am a certified Yachtmaster Offshore, and want to reach to be in some years in responsible position (Captain, First Mate) on a 40m classic super sailing yacht, that is my goal!
With over 13000 nautical miles, as an experienced and passionate sailor, I am looking for the next challenging job on a sailing yacht >35m as Deckhand or Lead Deckhand. I have been living on my own sailing boat (42ft) 2022-2023 and i worked this summer-season 2024 on a private classic sailing yacht 23m (76ft) as First Mate and Deckhand. I assisted the Captain in Trip planning, weather forecast, anchoring and mooring options, safety issues, sailing, manoeuvring, at the helm, etc.
I am talented in repair minor damages on ships and in manual work. I also have a lot of life experience and experience in business and employee management (Accounting, Salaries, ecc.).
In addition to the STCW BST 95, I am also certified in STCW Proficiency in Medical First Aid and STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties.
A high standard of professionalism in the areas of safety, cleanliness, navigation and teamwork is extremely important to me.
I am looking for the next exciting task to gain even more experience as Deckhand on a bigger sailing yacht. I would also like to take on additional functions in the area of safety and/or security. The next training programme will be OOW.
I am available immediately and would be very happy to cross the Atlantic from the Med to the west on my future work sailing yacht.
