Looking for a Captain, Delivery Crew, Bosun or 1st Officer position
I am an Italian citizen seafarer, with over 25 years of experience with navigations books
and all documents for work on private yachts and commercial flags . My experience on board started , mate, bosun, first officer , chase boat , and in shipyard , skipper captain, yacht management and maintenance, at the same I’m a professional scuba dive instructor, sailing instructor and in my career today Qualified certificated captain up to 500 GT SY & MY. my many experiences especially in sailing yachts and catamaran, of course motor yacht to manage 110 ft,
I am also an knowledge of inboard and outboard engine , a meteorologist and knowledge of the various on-board systems, generators and desalinators, which must always be checked and maintained for excellent operation periodically constantly, always. In the foreground and of great importance, in all things to do, and in navigation I put the safety of the boat and therefore of the crew and customers on board.
I made sailing with all the knowledge of over 50.000 miles in Offschore deliveries , passage plans with different M/Y and S/Y yachts catamaran multihull in Europe seas , ocean and all the Caribbean islands. Of course I love working at the same I’m a scuba dive instructor and all competence and knowledge of sistem gear , compressor, maintenance, since 2000 I discover in over 5000 dives around the world.
My experience and competence on board
• Safe navigation and operation of the yacht
• Leadership: supervise staff members and delegate tasks to employees
• Overseeing the upkeep of the vessel
• familiar with overall safety codes and the safety training of crew
• Familiar with issuing standing orders and budget management at all levels.
• Manage refit projects of luxury yachts
• MCA yacht captain up to 500 , Master (Yachts) endorsement motor and sail yacht .
• Solid maritime experience on the same position and training
• Significant experience gained in either the superyacht
• Solid experience of yacht handling
• verbal communication skills to direct staff and customers
• Highly skilled at dealing with people, both crew and the owner/guests
• Good in personnel management skills and financial management
• Italian mother tongue and Fluent in English , Spanish.
