U.K to France, channel crossing
Hello! We are Nina (25) and Nico (26)
We both have 4500nm of experience on highseas from crossing from the Bay of Biscay to Martinique last December/January. We are positive people that stay calm even in extreme situations and get along well with pretty much everybody. We are currently in the South of the U.K. (Solent), returning from our 6 months sailing and backpacking journey. If you are crossing the channel to France/ Netherlands in May/June we are keen to give you a hand wherever we can.
Nico has been working as a sailing instructor at Lake Garda for the past three years and learned to handle wood and glassfibre as an apprentice in a boat yard. He is keen to repair anything on the boat from works up on the mast to diving to empty clogged shit tanks. Nicos guitar is also part of our luggage.
Nina is a professional chef with international experience in the Michelin-starred gastronomy. Be it cans or fresh fish, she’ll make every meal a highlight. She is new to the sailing world but learnt a lot as a crew member on the Atlantic crossing. She has a basic sailing license.
Great couple to have on board
I sailed with Nina and Nico from Le Marin to Dominica stopping at various places in Martinique on the way. They were both delightful company to have on board. Nina is a great cook and Nico knows his way around a boat. Thoroughly recommended and are just very nice people.
