Experienced Kiwi Stewardess
Currently in Antibes, France.
I am a Kiwi stewardess in Antibes actively searching for my next role.
I spent last med season as a stewardess on M/Y Lady Haya (65m).
This opportunity taught me the definition of ‘hitting the ground running’ where as a green stew I went into a 5 week boss trip and had to learn most skills on the job quickly. I was very fortunate to have a great second stew who prioritized teaching and sharing knowledge during any moments of standby. Throughout this role, royal protocol was expected and I was heavily involved with all guest interaction (including children). I am known for my calm cheerful demeanor and always bringing a positive attitude and enthusiasm to every task. Tasks involved service, housekeeping and laundry.
Since leaving my last vessel I have been backpacking through Thailand training Muay Thai and upskilling where I can. I have recently obtained my Padi open water, and completed a 60hr course in Thai massage.
Before yachting I was an architectural technician and had multiple housekeeping positions. Since leaving NZ I have worked in a bar in Amsterdam as well as volunteering at schools and boutique accommodations across Turkey and Bulgaria. These experiences refined my communication, problem- solving, and interpersonal skills.
