Available to sail (preferably passages in the Caribbean)
I'm a digital nomad taking a break from the traditional office space. I’m open for a seasonal competent crew, mile building or voluntary position as I am very keen to learn more about boat management, sailing and the cruising lifestyle. Not interested in romance.
I have crew motor yachts, monohulls and catamarans up to 62 feet. I have over 5k NM under my belt. I am ENFP who enjoys doing projects, provisioning, cooking and supporting the efforts to keep the vessel maintained. I consider myself very adaptable and open-minded, skilled, able to work with power tools, sewing, and much more. I don’t get seasick, have great vision at night, good intuition, can withstand 5 hr. watches and drive performance vessels.
I have an International Driver’s License and I’m familiar driving, provisioning and exploring multiple islands in the Caribbean.
I assisted to coordinate a major refit during 2021 to a performance Catamaran in Newport, RI. The role involved onsite and remote activities such as sourcing parts, suppliers, managing deliveries, contracts, claim warranty coverage, the design of the vessel branding and the rendering of 2043Wp customs solar panels layout/system while building tolerance.
My experiences have sculpted me to competently handle under pressure and in high-risk situations. I am mostly good ambivert with a mischievous side, and align best with happy, cultured, enthusiastic and open-minded people.
