Looking for a Friendship, Mile building, Novice Crew position, and/or working passage

I'm looking for some working passage over the Atlantic to visit my daughter without using an airplane this summer, and looking forward to working and learning my way across. I am a mechanical engineer and have shown my aptitude for learning by backcountry skiing, rock climbing, and white water canoeing. I have my raft guide certification and swift water rescue certification, as well as Avalanche II training. I just don't have many sailboats nearby to get out on. :) I'm pretty good with languages as well and love to work in a team. Here's hoping to see you and a crew out on the open seas this early summer 2023
