Hi, I’m looking for an Engineer or 1st Mate position
Hi, I am a flexible sailor and used to go for long distances (even if it is with only 2 people on board). I have been to Southeast Asia (New Caledonia to Malaysia), passed the Atlantic twice (from South Africa to the Caribbean and from the Caribbean via the Azores to Portugal), sailed the Mediterranean Sea from Portugal to Turkey and the Pacific from Los Angeles to Panama. I sailed Monohulls up to 106 ft also as Katamarans up to 55 ft.
I do have a license for sailboats and motor crafts for worldwide and commercial sailing up to 100 GTs, also as radio licenses SRC and LRC.
I did several safety trainings and can teach safety on board.
I like to have my watch during nighttime or in the early morning and can help in the kitchen if necessary.
I am very good in electrics and electronics and can also handle quite all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues and of course maintain and service engines.
I can work with wood, metal and epoxy and can repair nearly everything.
I prefer to have a cabin for my own.
