Looking for a Captain, 1st Mate or Mile building position
I’m a marine scientist with a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster. The majority of my miles are in technical coastal waters and I’ve been lucky enough to sail in a lot of beautiful places from New Zealand to South Africa. My strengths are in planning and navigation including celestial.
I’m passionate about conservation and have historically tutored maths and science so would be happy to incorporate this into my role for cruising families or those of any age wanting to learn more about the marine environment or celestial navigation! I’m also an avid (recreational) cook and happy to contribute more than my share in the galley.
My partner and I were planning an Atlantic crossing this year on our new 50ft racer cruiser but due to severe corrosion we’ve had a change of plans so looking to get out on the water by other means, getting to know fellow likeminded people and be a helping hand where needed.
