Medium experience wants to learn on board living style
Hello,
I started sailing when I was 10 years old, very active in my younger years and now picking it up again. I sailed 2000 miles from Ushuaia to Antartica and back. Currently doing theory of RYA Yachtmaster. I am not poor, so happy to financially contribute.
The sea and ocean is a serious place. On board a joke is welcome, but its not a place for clowns.
In my working life for Shell, I have been posted for 3 years in Argentina, 3 years in Syria, 5 years in the Philippines, 3 years in Malaysia and 4 years in Oman. Have seen the world from the land side, now time for seeing it from the see side.
In the medium term I might buy my own boat, but for now I am highly flexible and therefore crewing is the ideal way to gain new experiences with regards to meeting new people, sail different boats, experience various waters and see new places.
