I am looking to learn from an experienced skipper. Hope to progress towards doing day skipper practical in 2024..
Done a one week liveaboard competent crew course while on a holiday in the Canary Islands a few years back. Still dream of a cruising life and owning my own boat one day but I really need to get some proper hands on experience so looking for experienced skippers to pass on their knowledge and teach me the seamanship skills needed to safely navigate and maintain a vessel. Work full time so only a few weeks available to me each year to travel for sailing opportunities so would also be great to find a regular berth on a boat within Ireland preferably Donegal or Northern Ireland.

K Is the salt of earth guy, no bullshit. I really wished he could have spent more time onboard, because this guy will master the art of sailing, well as much as we all can . Personally, I'd love to have back onboard to build his experience and confidence. A pleasure to be with, just give him space to absorb what's going on , he'll be sound one day very soon.
