Hi, my name is Marcel. 35 years, Brazilian living in Barcelona with EU visa.
I am a professional with some experience in navigation and maritime management. After a career in the corporate world, I decided to move to Barcelona in 2017, where I developed my passion for sailing. I have crossed the Atlantic as First Officer and have accumulated more than 6000 nautical miles in various voyages. I am currently looking for opportunities to apply my skills in navigation, boat maintenance and customer service in the maritime sector.
I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand, competent Crew or I could clean the boat, cook some foods, I´m hard working with no drama. Just love the sea.
I started sailing in 2022 and I felt in love with the connection that the ocean gave to us so I bought a small sail boat and living in it for 2 years.
I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!

I sailed from Barcelona and employed Marcel aboard as crew/deckhand on a Bali catamaran delivery. He was just excellent ! A good cook and very good company. He speaks perfect english and has a very good boating knowledge. I won’t hesitate to employ him again!
