Looking for a Chef position
I am looking for my next position as a chef on a Yacht. I spent December to May doing a season in the Caribbean on a 67ft sailing catamaran cooking for up to 8 guests and 4 crew. The yacht was first based in St. Martin, but we spent the majority of the season further south in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Before becoming a chef I worked as a scuba diving instructor for over 4 years. I am still a PADI instructor in active status. I have sailed over 5000 NM and I can tie knots, put out fenders, help dock, anchor, keep watch, among other skills.
I love making delicious balanced meals that cater to my guests’ needs. I grew up in Hong Kong and have travelled extensively which translates into a passion for international cuisine. I am looking forward to celebrating the local cuisine and ingredients wherever we sail, keeping meals fresh and tasty.
I am friendly, a hard worker and able to stay calm and professional in stressful situations. I love cooking and making beautiful, but most importantly scrumptious, nutritious food.
