Experienced Captain
Hello dear owners or recruiters;
I have been working on marine industry for almost 15 years after graduation from Kocaeli University, Maritime and Harbour Management department in 2007.
My maritime career has started on Merchant ships as deck cadet. I have worked for 2 contracts as deck cadet and I have passed the Atlantic oceas 2 times. I have been in many ports and cities over Caribbean, Baltic, Med, Adriatic, Aegean and Black Sea. I have sailed almost 100K NM in this period and gained precious watchkeeping, deck crew management experiences with merhchant ship dicipline.
In 2011, I have started to Yachting industry on position deckhand and promoted my position in time with experiences. I have been serving as a captain since 2014 on several sized yachts from 24 m to 50 m.
For the last year, I had wonderful season and gained esteemed experiences as a Captain on
Mangusta Oceano 43 with 6 multinational crew members in route that Türkiye, Greece, Albania, Sicily, west coasts of Italy, Sardinia and then going back to Turkiye.
Being worked on various type of yachts and passenger ships made me gain a good understanding of the over all operations. I am highly organized, hard worker with an eye for details, diplomatic, diciplined and excellent team player, lead by example with a positive and hands-on approach; strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, I have been serving as a board member of the Türkiye Yacht Masters and Crew Association for almost 3 years. During this period, I have been one of the 9 key figures as board of director to orginise International Yachting Sector Meeting event annually for the last 3 years. I have orginized some conferences at University to explane to students that how this job runs on the field.
