Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position around South Europe from May
Hi!
I am Federica, Italian solo traveler, and it would be great to find a crew to join to explore some of the Islands of the southern Europe (Greece, Sardinia, Corsica, Balearic Islands and so).
I have one month off (May 2025) before I start to work.
My idea is to spend time with adventurous and easygoing people, discover places and share expenses equally, and hopefully learn something more about sailing.
I adapt very much, I am friendly, I like to help, I believe in slow travel, in connections with others and with nature, and in an essential lifestyle.
I am Vegetarian (no fish, no meat, and it doesn't bother me what the others eat)
My experience on the sea is little, based on one month of sailing along the coast of Western Australia on a small catamaran and 2 weeks on a tiny sailing boat between mostly Elba, Caprera and Giglio Islands (Italy).
I learnt few things but mostly that I don't get seasick easily. I also grew up swimming into the Mediterranean Sea and I really enjoy being close to the sea and nature.
I've been traveling and living for years between Oceania, Asia and Europe, and I spent the last year and half in Canada and Mexico.
I can't just stop :)
Few more things about me: I do seasonal jobs but I am a (mostly digital) illustrator and I am trying to make a profession out of it.
I like meditation, singing and play (badly) ukulele, and I am trying to learn French.
I can cook but I'm not a chef, but I managed to make gnocchi once onboard with the help of the others :)
