Looking for an Amateur Crew position in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Tahiti or Fiji.
Hi! I'm interested in finding a position as Amateur Crew around Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Tahiti or Fiji. We are a couple seeking sailing and surf adventures while we put our jobs on hold for 6 months starting 1st July 2019. We will be living the van life for the majority of the trip but wish to jump on board a boat with like minded frothers for a month or two. We have zero commitments for 6 months so are super flexible with locations and timing and are happy to fly to any country for the right boat.
I am a structural engineer with a previous trade as a cabinet maker. I’m interested in learning all facets of sailing including boat maintenance and navigation. I am a friendly, hard worker who generally gets along well with anyone. My partner, Kara, is an outdoor education and PE teacher, junior sail instructor and wizz in the kitchen! Ultimately we would love to live the sailing-surfing lifestyle but happy to forego the waves if other adventures arise.
