Looking to Gain Knowledge and Adventure - Novice Crew Position

I am currently available for suitable crewing opportunities in Europe, the UK and some worldwide locations depending on flight prices and any contributions required. I live in the South West of England (UK) in Devon and am also open to any sailing opportunities Locally.
I'm interested in finding a position as a novice crew member as I have very limited experience. I would like to increase my knowledge and experience on sailing and gain further skills with navigation, route planning around the winds/weather etc. I am also interested in general boat mechanics and sail maintenance (not toilet cleaning) and am not afraid to get stuck in.
I have crewed for 2 weeks around the Azores and taken numerous night watches and shared responsibilities.
I would like to travel to as many places in the world as possible and on my bucket list I would like to do an Atlantic crossing.
In the future I would like to take my RYA qualifications with a view to eventually owning my own boat.
Due to work and home commitments I can only be away for up to 2-4 weeks at one time. Longer time slots are not impossible, but would require negotiating and planning in advance and again would depend on the contribution costs required.
I am a friendly (and I think I can be quite funny), hardworking, active, courteous and trustworthy person who is not afraid of hard work. I do not smoke, I do not take drugs and only drink occasionally, although enjoy it when I do.
I really enjoy water sports, swimming, kayaking, snorkelling and have very limited scuba diving expertise which I am keen to learn more (I would like to obtain my Padi in the future). I also enjoy hiking, caving and exploring.
I enjoy meeting and communicating with different people from all ages and walks of life - but would prefer ‘not’ to share a cabin if possible.
Please note I am ‘not’ looking for any sort of romantic encounters.
My suitability for crewing positions will depend on flight price, access to airports/ports, any contribution(s) required and availability.
I am vegetarian - I hope wouldn’t cause any complications on-board?!
