I am very interested in the Captain position advertised. I believe my administrative skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for this role, because I am going to be available in the Med/Caribbean from March 2025 and looking for a long-term commitment on a yacht. Thanks to my B1B2 in hand, Italian certificates up to date IMO MASTER 500GT, STCW95 Endorsed MCA-UK, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, French visa de reconnaissance DIRM Marseille, ENG1, strong local knowledge of the French Riviera, Italian Riviera, Pontine Isles, Campania’s Isles, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Tunisia, Adriatic Sea, Croatia, Greek Ionian, Cyclades Isles, Lesser Antilles from Grenada to BVI.
I have extensive experience as Captain/Officer on motor yachts and sailing yacht up to 31 mt. During these years I obtained all-around experience in deck and engine room maintenance, electric and electronics, painting, carpentary, rigging and general cleanliness. I am a team player, enjoy learning, have a positive personality with a good work ethic and excellent people skills to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the yacht, have natural leadership skills, confident and knowledgeable leader. I pursue safe systems of work and procedures onboard to ensure that the yacht is always seaworthy and efficient. I have experience in budgeting, accounting, provisioning, bunkering, internal and external refitting at a shipyard and confident in leading an experienced deck team seeking to take an active role in onboard development and crew training. To keep all charts, publications, and other documentation current, to plan all passages on Transas 4000, to test and maintain all Life-Saving Appliances, Firefighting equipment and keep appropriate records, with a list of spares kept onboard.
Excellent tender Skills, good water sports knowledge, snorkelling, fishing, surfing, wakeboarding, water ski, jet ski, towing toys, sailing dinghy.
