CAPTAIN
I began my maritime career in the early 1990s, driven by a passion for water sports and the sea, and worked as a parachute boat captain until 2003. During this time, I also instructed water skiing, windsurfing, and catamaran sailing. In 2007, I transitioned to working as a yacht captain, managing yachts up to 40 meters in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea. Over the years, I have captained yachts across the European Atlantic coast, the Mediterranean’s east and west, Aegean Islands, and the Red Sea.
I possess technical expertise in MTU, MAN, Caterpillar, and Volvo Penta engines, and I am experienced with IPS, Arneson, and classic shaft drives. I also have hands-on knowledge of boat manufacturing control and inspections, having worked with renowned shipyards such as Sunseeker (UK), Ferretti, San Lorenzo (Italy), and Mengi Yacht (Turkey). My experience extends to managing annual boat maintenance and renewals at the marina after each season.
Currently, I am seeking captain positions on vessels up to 500 GT that will offer opportunities to broaden my experience. I am open to both short and long-term contracts.
