Sailing and Diving instructor
My name is Joaquin Carboni, I have 16 years of sailing experience in many different boats, and in different weather conditions.
My most important sailing experience was from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro with no scales, sailing to winward with an average windspeed of 30kts for 12 days in the regatta: BsAs - Rio de Janeiro.
I have been doing several deliveries to Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico and at the Caribbean sea.
Also racing for many years in Argentina, and also in Ecuador and Mexico.
I enjoy cooking on board and Im really handy during maintainance and fixing. I know also welding, mechanics and carpentry. Repairing boats during sailing or in the harbor is one thing i love.
Also have been a PADI Dive instructor for the past 2 years. Diving in many different regions and scenarios. From Honduras Caribbean reef up to Revillagigedo Archipelago at the pacific side of Mexico, also done cave and altitude diving in very rough conditions.
Im a harmonica and ukelele player also, so music is guaranteed! (only if wanted). I enjoy playing jazz and blues music mainly, but i am a big lover for the music that feels good.
Teaching and sharing knowledge is one of my main passions, because the more i teach the more i learn. I am an easy going person, hard worker and very reliable.
