Experience, enjoyment, looking make a career as a skipper/Instructor eventually.
Hello,
I am a man who loves the sea and sailing, otherwise I wouldn't be here, and would like to learn all I can.
Currently serving in the Royal Navy, leaving soon to start a new career at sea.
I have my RYA Coastal Skipper. I am now looking real, practical experience.
What I can offer;
- Good knowledge of paper and electronic navigation
- Familiar with Bermudan Sloop, Gaff, and Square riggers.
- Good cook and good tea making abilities
- Cleanliness of the boat always maintained
- Can keep watches, night watches and anchor watches
- Good knowledge of International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs)
-Cheerfulness and always get on with people.
I hope to create for myself, a career at sea. So, any time that you could offer me would be greatly appreciated. I can fit in with your plans. To be part of your adventure would be fantastic.
You would be doing me a great service by getting in contact, I very much look forward to sailing with you.
Thank you for reading,
All the best,
Matt
Excellent company
Matthew joined me in Dartmouth for a trip originally planned to end in Chichester Harbour but when a blade broke off the propeller was curtailed in Lymington while I sourced a replacement. We had a great time, some good sailing, a rescue tow for another boat stuck in Lulworth Cove, racing on a friend’s boat in Weymouth and even fitted in a visit to the Southampton Boat Show. Matthew is calm and competent and would be an asset to any trip.
