As a professionally qualified captain with 19 years’ experience in the yachting industry, I have honed key skills and developed the necessary knowledge to perform my duties to the highest professional standards. I consider myself a very “hands on” Captain with a wide skill set enabling me to successfully repair and maintain most onboard systems. During my career, I have made the conscious effort to develop myself not only as a Captain, but also in specialized areas such as: diesel mechanics, marine electrical systems, hydraulics, plumbing, A/C compressors, charter yacht management and new-build commissioning projects (commercial MCA Coding and Compliance).
