Hello!
My name Is Benjamin Barnett and I am looking to further my sailing experience by exploring destinations I have not yet been to. During 2018, I sailed aboard the S/Y Fairwinds, a paid by crew position, from Cuba to Jamaica, Haiti, and across the Caribbean Sea to the ABC Islands. After going home to make more money, I was invited back to sail the Viking route from Canada to Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. I was exposed to some of the harshest of conditions as we came within 50 miles of the Arctic Circle avoiding Icebergs and Polar Bears. At the ripe age of 20, I hope to broaden my knowledge of sailing by crossing the Pacific Ocean to the South Pacific. I have amassed nearly 5,000 Nautical Miles and have basic competency in engine repair.
