Reliable Couple Seeking Hands-On Crew Spots on a Cruising Catamaran
Summary
- Vasco (36m) and Jac (30f)
- We’re preparing to purchase our own liveaboard catamaran, and are seeking practical crew opportunities to level up before taking the leap
- We want to learn alongside an experienced skipper, sharpen our skills, and have fun in the months prior to starting our own adventure
- More than anything, we’re excited to embrace a meaningful offshore journey, learn everything we can, and connect with amazing people who share a love for sailing and the sea
Let’s sail, learn, and laugh together!
Who We Are
We’re both non-smokers (no drugs, modest social drinkers), easygoing, with plenty of common sense. We have no allergies or dietary restrictions and enjoy cooking simple meals from scratch. We're both passionate cooks (especially when freshly-caught seafood is involved!) and love the rhythm of life at sea. We are both in very good shape and enjoy staying active.
Our main goal is to learn as much as possible while maintaining a good sense of humor and remaining level-headed. We enjoy staying organized and pitching in on everything from maintenance and night watches to provisioning, cooking, cleaning, and more.
We are both extroverted and enjoy conversations with the rest of the team. We’re curious learners and love sailing conversations — especially with folks who enjoy sharing their experience.

- Respectful of your space and routines
- Happy to contribute to costs for in/out flights, food, and personal expenses
- Reliable, great work ethic, drama-free, clean, and motivated to learn
- Enthusiastic, with a good sense of humor and good sea legs
- We understand the demands of life aboard and are happy to adjust to your boat's rhythm and needs
- We’re not looking for a free ride—we’re looking for a real opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow aboard a serious cruising vessel
