Looking for a Friendship position
Hi, my name is Moriz, I’m 21 years old, and I’m from Germany. Next year, I plan to travel the world and would love to join a boat where I can sail, live on board, and contribute to the crew.
I don’t have any sailing experience yet, but I’m a quick learner and eager to help with anything that needs to be done—whether it’s steering, assisting with shifts, cooking, keeping the boat clean or general tasks on board. My goal is to document the journey together with the crew through photography and videography.
I love being in the water, enjoy swimming, and plan to get my diving certification. I’m also interested in freediving, marine biology, and ocean conservation, and I’d love to learn more about everything related to the sea.
About Me:
Languages: I speak fluent German and English, and I can speak a little bit French.
Active Lifestyle: I love outdoor sports such as climbing, hiking, and kayaking.
Outdoor & Survival Skills: I have no high demands for a sleeping spot—as long as I can lie down, I’m happy. I’ve spent many nights outdoors and have solid skills in survival and bushcrafting (I can make a fire).
Media & Design Skills: I am a trained Media Designer for Print with a background in graphic design. If anyone needs help with social media, a website, or simply photos and videos, I’d be happy to assist!
I’m easygoing, sociable, and open to new experiences.
What I’m Looking For:
My ultimate goal is to cross the Atlantic with a crew, but before that, I’d like to spend a few months sailing in Europe or the Mediterranean to gain experience and get familiar with life on board. I’d also love to get to know the crew beforehand through video calls to see if we’re a good fit.
I’m okay with sharing food costs, but ideally, I’m looking for a boat where accommodation is already covered. I don’t have a large budget, as I want to make my world trip last as long as possible.
