Recreational sailor, interested to join larger boats for work
Hi, I'm Peter, from Hungary.
I am an experienced tour guide, who wanted to change career. I'm cetrified recreation skipper in Europe on inland waters (lakes and rivers), also I have the croatian skipper "C" licence which means I'm allowed to be a skipper on the whole world, also I have SRC radio licence. I'm about to go and do the STCW Basic course in the sommer of 2025.
I was working before as janitor in an office building, I did electrical maintenance, some plumbing, paint jobs, even drywall and brickwall building too, I have drivers license for motorbikes-cars-trucks, dirtmover vehicles and forklifts as well, could operate crane too if needed, anything what floats I have licence up to 30GT.
I can do skiing and snowboarding, rock climbing, I'm good at snorkeling down to 8-10 meters 1,5-2 minutes (also interested to study diving too), I was for a short time period about 15 years ago weightlifter, so I'm good with heavy stuff.
I'm tidy, and I keep everything in order, and organised, I can talk and have conversation in english, german, and of course hungarian, as a licenced tour guide, I can talk almost anything with any partner, I have lot of interests, and I'm easygoing with everyone.
LGBTQ friendly, but hetero, currently single, not searching for relationship. I respect all religion, I have also my own belief, and as I don't want to evangelize anyone, also please be likewise. Unless you are praying to the goa'uld, or to Kahless :)
I don't have any special diet, I eat almost everiyhing be as vegetable, fruit or meat, I'm only lactose intolerance (but no special need), I'm not a big drinker, only 1-2 glass of wine occasionally, maybe a shot of Pálinka sometimes (the hungarian spirit), so I can say, I'm sober almost all the time. I quit smoking many years ago too, it was bad for my health, and for my snorkeling abilites.
Reasons I want to change my career: even as a tour guide probably I'm getting a better salary as most people in Hungary, still as EU/US/UK standards it is still more likely just a week or maybe 10 days worth of money. Also the chances to have decent life, "normal" salary, nice home, good education, quality healthcare will probably not become a real thing in the next 20 years, so wanted to leave the country probably for ever, and visit only the family.

I'm interested in finding a position as a Delivery Crew, Deckhand or Competent Crew.
I'm looking for a job, or partnership to be and live on a boat (preferred in the Med, but i'm open for everything).
I could work, and have experience as deckhand, cleaning and docking-manouvers, on "smaller" boats I could do watchkeeping. If you show me what and how to do, I could do anything.
