Looking for a Competent Crew position
I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew and I'm also looking forward to meeting some new sailing friends.
I'm especially interested in crewing on cruising catamarans as I am considering getting one for my next boat (45ft range). Most of my current experience is on my F-9A trimaran (launched 1993) and various monohulls. I have about 10,000 miles on my boat and at least 6,000 miles on other boats.
I'm based in SoCal and married for 27+ years but my wife is currently not available. I'm a non-smoker/light drinker.
I'm a retired Electrical Engineer that worked with Radar, MRI machines, Electric Boats and Cell Phone base station equipment. Also built my boat (1991-1993) and was a hands on landlord (1989-2023).
