Looking for a Novice Crew or Mile building position
I’m looking to expand my sailing experience outside of racing/regattas. I’m a mid-30s traveling artist (flexible schedule) with special interests in languages, history, and travel. I have a deep love of reading and literature, and truly enjoy learning. I grew up an avid angler in the Salmon Capital of the East Coast (US), tying flies and fishing Lake Ontario until I ventured into deep sea and gulf fishing in my early teens. My work experience includes bartending, UX design for IBM, American Sign Language Interpretation, and award-winning international Tattooing. Problem-solving, attention to detail, and flexibility are skills I am always striving to embody.
My sailing experiences are primarily racing on the Great Lakes, with some offshore cruising from Rhode Island (including watches and light Stew duties). I would love the opportunity to gain more experience on the Saint Lawrence Seaway, as well as long-haul cruising (especially ICW, Transatlantic, and Caribbean experiences).
