Looking for a Competent Crew position to sail accross the Atlantic Ocean
Hello everyone :)
My name is Martin, I'm 27 years old, I just finished my studies, and I’d love to sail across the Atlantic!
I have solid sailing experience from multiple cruises with my family in the Mediterranean (Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Aeolian Islands, Greece, etc.) on monohulls, but now I’m eager to take on a real challenge: the Atlantic! I’m fully aware of life on board and everything it entails—household chores, shift rotations, a good attitude, teamwork, and of course, contributing to the shared expenses. Sailing has always been a passion of mine, and with this new experience, I want to discover what true freedom feels like!
A little bit about me: I spent four years in a swimming student-athlete program in the United States before joining emlyon for my master’s degree. I love swimming, but also trail running and triathlons. I’m originally from Brittany (Saint-Brieuc, Côtes-d'Armor) and have done a lot of training in optimist sailing, catamaran, and windsurfing. I also have a strong team spirit, and my sports background has taught me how to handle stressful situations very well.
