While already having my RYA Offshore CE - sail, Powerboat Level II, PWC, Deckhand & Stewardess course and more, the first step would be to join a versatile team as a Deckhand and work my way up to achieve my dream and build my career in this industry.
With my personality being filled with a great sense of humour, friendly, out-spoken, adventurous and diligent - I knew I could thrive wherever I am based.
Having a strong focus on attention to detail, I am eager to bring skills in communication and problem-solving to ensure every task is executed at the highest level while fostering a positive and memorable atmosphere on board.
I believe I would make an asset to the team because I do not give up and extremely determined to get things done. Being versatile and open to constructive criticism only allows me to grow as an individual, which I thrive on - while remaining light hearted and seeking the joy life has to offer.
I am also passionate about sailing - whether leisure or racing! Working in the corporate industry for 7 years, my life had felt unfulfilled.
While falling in love with sailing, I knew I wanted to Captain a vessel someday - understanding it takes time, dedication and being committed to continuous learning and professional development in all aspects of my career as well as my personal well-being – where I find joy in the process of growth and discovery.
