Maya Cole looking for a Stewardess or Stew/Deck position
Hello my name is Maya Cole, I am writing to express my interest in the position of Stewardess or Deck/Stew. With recent hands-on experience in a similar role aboard S/Y Baruna of 1938, I am eager to bring my skills to your team.
During my two-months onboard I participated in three Classic Regattas—Imperia, Cannes, and St Tropez—and managed a wide array of responsibilities that align closely with some of the requirements listed in your job description.
In my recent position as Sole Stewardess Race Crew, I not only thrived in managing all interior duties such as detailing, provisions for crew and guests and race uniform management for up to 21 crew members, but also excelled in service for the owner and guests. My responsibilities extended to crew laundry and some aspects of accounting. On deck, I was actively involved in handling runners, Mizzen Staysail plug-ins, tack, halyard, sheets and packing, working aloft, and assisting with fenders during docking.
I am enthusiastic about the possibility of contributing to your team and am confident that my background in hospitality , along with my relevant yachting experience, that I would make a valued addition to your crew.
