Friendly, positive, hard-working Grandmother looking to crew in beautiful locations!

Ahoy there!
With several boat deliveries under my keel, I just finished a 4,000nm Atlantic Crossing on a 39ft sailboat with a 3 person crew. Also in 2024, I sailed most of the US East Coast and the Caribbean... and I am currently set to transit the Panama Canal in January 2025.

I've sailed with couples, families with young children, all male crew, and an a 78 year old grumpy Captain, who I finally one over with my southern charm and postive attitude. Besides experience with instruments and navigation systems, I've completed over 100 Night watches, climbed a 63ft mast, and have my own Spinlock deckvest, double tether and Garmin inReach.

Since I've been retired, I've been studying and working towards my Master's Captain's license and plan to be a USCG documented 50 ton Captain in 2025.

Previously, my husband and I owned catamaran and were cruisers for several years, sailing Galveston Bay and eventually crossing the Gulf of Mexico from Texas to Florida. We later traded ocean life for lake life, and currently live on a houseboat in Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia.
