Looking for another unforgettable adventure after crossing the Indian Ocean in 2023!
Hi there,
My name is Wick, 26-year-old and from the Netherlands with a passion for sailing. I grew up sailing on Dutch waters with my parents. For 7 years I have been working as a sailing-instructor, spending most of my summers sailing. In 2023, I had the incredible experience of joining a 6,700 Nm voyage from Cape Town to Hobart, spending six unforgettable weeks on the Indian Ocean. That journey deepened my love for long-distance sailing, and I’m eager to embark on another memorable trip soon!
I’m available to join a crew starting July 2025, but I’m open to discussing earlier departures if needed. Currently based in Europe, I’d prefer to board somewhere nearby, though I’m happy to arrange a flight to the departure point if necessary. I’m very flexible with how long I can stay onboard—let’s chat and work something out!
Friends and family describe me as curious, adventurous, and easy-going. I take pride in maintaining a clean and respectful environment and have a patient and collaborative attitude. When I’m not sailing, you’ll find me exploring other hobbies like biking, camping, climbing, dancing, reading, cooking, or simply enjoying quality time with friends and family.
