Looking to cross the Atlantic (East to West) starting in Europe from 01.02.2025
Hello fellow sailing-enthusiasts
We (Jannik 35 and myself, Simon 31) are looking for a boat to cross the Atlantic (east to west) Starting in the Canaries. The destination should be somewhere in the Caribbean South or Middle America. We’re currently based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and ready to embark now.
Here are some Facts about us:
- Sailing since childhood (400+ nm coastal & many more on inland waters)
- Handy with mechanics and electronics (both engineers)
- Speaking English, Spanish and German fluently
- Eager to help on all arising tasks
- Hands-on mentality
- Easygoing, and reliable
- Willing to pay for food and transit
Adittionally Jannik has the SRC radio license, the IWM/IWS and CWM certificates (German SBF - Binnen and SBF -See).
