Dee excited about life and the ocean
Hi
My partner and I have recently hung up our work boots and have been fascinated and interested in the idea of sailing and exploring the world using a sailboat for a while now. Being avid water babies, we are keen on getting our feet wet with the sailing world and are hoping we can gain some experience and see what its like to get off the land that we've occupied for the last 40 years of our lives and see whats its like out there in the open ocean.
We have been volunteering in and around the country for the last few years and have picked up a varied set of skillsets.
We are keen and fast learners and can manage to follow instructions very well.
Having held management positions in our professional careers, we have a broad understanding of how to be flexible and adaptive in tight situations (literally)
We can also cook a decent meal and are excited to share our food with you all.
We are super easy going and travel very light :)
I have experience in night watches, sail trimming, cooking and general upkeep of the boat. Having crossed from Phuket to Andaman and from Andaman to Sri Lanka I can confidently say I love ocean passages.
