*Atlantic Crossing 2025 Crew Available in Mindelo, Cabo Verde*
Hejj fellow lovely seacreatures - I am Simon from Germany and I'm looking to join a crew in Cape Verde for the Atlantic Crossing anytime. I am currently living in my friend's boat in the Marina of Mindelo.
I'm really open for any kind of position and willing to contribute financially to split costs.
Got some solid offshore sailing experience. Three years ago I was sailing with tallship SV Twister from Amsterdam to tenerife. Participating in all watches. And especially freshened my skills up now that I’ve spent the last 10 days on a 51ft monohull handsteering through challenging conditions (gusts up to 35 kts and biiiig wavieees) ?.
Fit, happy, and really motivated to give you an extra hand and participate in watches as well as other tasks (e.g. kitchen, etc.) if needed!
Bringing a good spirit with positive mindset and easy-goingness.
I don’t have a specific destination & date that I have to be anywhere as I’m planning to travel in Central America for the rest of the year. ? So that brings in some extra flexibility :)
If of interest, I am a certified wellness masseur, PADI Divemaster and I really enjoy cooking as well, which would be all jobs I'd happily take over as well.
