Looking for a transatlantic journey from Europe to the Canaries
Hi there ! I'm Sacha, 23-yo from Switzerland eager to leave my beloved mountains for a while and discover more of this planet ! I would like to embark on a sailboat for a transatlantic crossing to the Canary Islands. Though I have very little sailing experience, my motivation to learn is very high !
I’m open-minded, very easy going and (almost) always have a smile on my face :-) I love to learn new things, to be in wilderness, ascend mountains, observe wildlife and more than anything to feel alive ! I like to meet new people and hear about their passions and philosophy.
There is something majestic about the thought of crossing the Ocean with the trade winds and reaching another continent.. like in the old days. One of my passions is meteorology, I’ve just finished my studies in atmospheric sciences. I now want to experience the wind, the currents and the waves.. away from books, equations and theory..
I would love to hear any suggestions you may have, I hope to hop aboard !
