Looking for a Captain, Deckhand, Delivery Crew or Sailing instructor position
Hey I'm Tommie a easy going and Relaxed Sailor from South Africa slowly starting out my career while at the same time slowly progressing on my Own Circumnavigation.
2024 June - November - Maintenance and Repairs on multiple boats during the Hurricane season as well as Management of service providers.
2024 May - June - Sailed on a 48ft foot with a less experienced couple in the Caribbean. Teaching practical Sailing and helping them to become more comfortable and confident to handle the boat by themselves and travel independently in future.
2023 August - October Crewed on a 43ft Boat up the coast of Brazil.
2023 March - July worked as a skipper on a 65ft ketch. Sailing from Suriname around the Caribbean and Central America visiting 15 countries before leaving the boat in Panama where it is now being stored. We visited quite a few more remote and less visited islands, I had two crew onboard as well as two owners.

2020 - 2021 - Full restoration of my steel boat top to bottom from being only a Empty Hull to a fully Equipped Catagory A Sailing vessel.
Late 2021 - 2022 - Sailing from Richard Bay South Africa to Cape Town.
2022 April - Left South Africa sailing to Namibia, corssing the Atlantic and Cruising the Coast of Brazil for 6 months.
2022 - 2024 - Mostly Solo Sailing and Cruising from Brazil, French Guiana, Suriname and the Carribean.
Occasionally I take crew and passengers on my personal boat on sailing trips and Island hoping.
I've have crewed on a few boats mostly informal.
