Seeking September novice crew opportunity
Hi there! My partner Tanner (32M) and I (28F) are from Lake Tahoe California and are looking for a position on a boat in September. We are flexible on duration and location but are checking off a bucket list item to learn how to sail. Very clean, easy going, adventurous, low-maintenance and hard-working couple who work very well together. He is a medic/firefighter, I am a drinking water engineer. We primarily spend our time in the mountains splitboarding and mountain biking but have been shifting to more ocean time via surf trips (and hopefully some sailing soon). Tanner and I both have extensive solo travel experience + lived in our vehicles so we are comfortable in modest living accommodations.
Our ideal boat would be with a team or individual who is willing to teach, has a grounded/laid-back nature, prioritizes a healthy lifestyle (FYI not heavy drinkers), and is looking for good conversation and company on your travels. We are very community oriented and have a diverse group of friends, looking forward to expanding that on this next adventure :) Cheers!
