Sailing the Greek Islands
I am sailing around Greece over summer around Athens, kea, epidavros, Aegina, Mykonos, hydra, Pylos,Santorini, and crete and many other places... Maybe turkey too. Fly into Athens or Chania...
I can sail the yacht mostly by myself as the yacht is new and highly automated (autopilot, furlers, ais, remote windlass, mantis storm anchor, lazy jack main, davits...), so help is mostly keeping watch and mooring in marinas and ports. Plus life is always better shared. Also I don't snore.
I have been sailing around Italy, France, Greece since 2014, done over 10,000 sea miles now. I've been sailing since I was 8 years old in New Zealand, starting with optimists, lasers, Hobie 16, Bruce Farr yachts... I am also a pretty good cook (did catering) and the yacht has a BBQ and kitchen etc. I was a certified sailing instructor so I can teach you for free. Shared costs are negotiable and rather small, as island hopping costs are minimal as I like anchoring and cooking...
Please note that this yacht is 8m, there are 4 separate bunks/beds but no separate cabins, however the rear guest cabin has privacy and curtains.
Max crew is 2.
So a bit about your Captain, I am mid 40s, divorced, no kids and an entrepreneur. I like sailing, cooking, scuba, trekking, films and theatre. I will be working remotely and you can too, the yacht has a 5g SIM router, 400w solar, 3 x 100amp batteries, 300w pure sign inverter, 65w pd usb chargers for apple laptops and smartphones...
Ideally looking for crew that likes sailing, swimming, sightseeing ancient sites and Italian cuisine. Ideally looking for people that are fun, honest and reliable. Experience is not needed as I can teach you. Minimum stay is a week, max is 2 months.
SMALL YACHT = LESS COSTS. Less than 10 euros a day for your share of marina, fuel and food. Almost free at anchor... I like to anchor where possible as you can't swim in ports.
For further pics of previous sailing trips, my cooking, yacht and me, message to make a request. Happy sailing... Please no timewasters!
